Stereotypes
"Girls will be girls" and "Boys will be boys" but what do those statements mean and are they true anyway? While culture or the media may push us into certain expectations, there are role models who refuse to succumb to gender stereotypes. Jesus, himself, made some remarkable stands against the prevailing accepted norms of his society.
The White Ribbon Campaign (WRC) is the global campaign to ensure mentake more responsibility for reducing the level of violence against women. It believes that while some men are part of the problem, all men can be part of the solution!
