Comment Traffickers clearly control their victims: psychologically, by fear and threats, and by actual violence and physical abuse, they control every minute of their lives – work, sleep, association and survival, including decisions as to whether they do survive or are callously "disposed of". But the group faced questions as to whether this was actually an extension of forms of control that happen in other parts of society and our 'mind-mapping' processes led to a number of ideas which we have included in this section of the site. We have tried to give information on both sides of debates, but have found it impossible to remain open-minded on many of these issues ourselves, as we have travelled the path of learning. We hope you will understand when our opinions surface, and also be prepared to challenge and to think these issues through yourselves.
